State Advocacy

VMBA Day on the Hill

The VMBA Day on the Hill is a critical component of our overall advocacy efforts. The Virginia economy depends on mortgage solutions VMBA members provide to Virginia’s residents. We need to have face-to-face dialogues with our state representatives so that they better understand the key issues impacting our industry, thus enabling them to make informed legislative decisions to help VMBA members maintain a favorable lending environment.

VMBA Day on the Hill is generally held in January each year and includes legislative briefing over breakfast, followed by face-to-face visits with legislators.  A networking reception is usually held the night before.

The date for the 2020 VMBA Day on the Hill will be announced soon!
